Load Roblox Characters 4

Load Roblox Characters 4.x.x – LRC4 – User Manual

Load Roblox Characters 4 (LRC4) is the fourth addition of Load Roblox Characters. Fundamentally, it still is the same, just more capable and smooth!

Features

  • Load characters in R6 or R15

  • Auto update characters

  • Inspect characters

  • Select from a user's saved outfits

  • Quickly select characters of you, developers in your team create, your recently loaded characters, your bookmarks, your friends, or search for any user on Roblox.

Improvements over LRC3

LRC4 is a full revamp and the next major version of LRC3, here's some of the main improvements LRC4 brings:

  • LRC is now served in a widget, allowing you to resize and dock it however you want and it will adapt to its best ability to fit seamlessly into wherever you need it.

  • LRC4 automatically picks the best rig type for each user's character, and will automatically choose the best rig type for user's saved outfits as well.

  • LRC4 introduces new options for loading characters, such as making them inspectable via pre-made scripts, hiding their health, or disabling autoscaling. Additionally, if you select an option which overrides any toggle, you'll be made aware.

  • You can now bookmark characters for easy access.

  • Inserting characters should now position them more easily in view of your camera than before.

  • You can now apply default settings, clear all data and cache, or simply the cache of individual users.

  • LRC4 is all-in-all more smooth, displaying progress bars and spinners when actions require wait time. Additionally, LRC4 (4.0.2+) introduces a resolver in-case you have a network issue or Roblox experiences issues.

  • (4.1.0+) Improved update notice and development installation label (existed since 4.0.0, improved 4.1.0) which appears when the plugin is loaded locally.

How to navigate LRC4

Open the plugin widget

When opening studio for the first time with LRC4 installed, under your plugins tab, you should see a toolbar named 'Wolfite'. Under that toolbar, you should see the button 'Load Character'. Click it to open the LRC4 widget.

Upon opening the plugin for the first time, it may take some time to load. This is because if you don't use LRC4 actively in a studio session, it won't initiate to save resources for your system. However, this makes it so it will take longer to load the first time you open it.

Use your home page

LRC4 should automatically open to the home page upon loading, no input is required. Once your here, you can click on yourself, developers in your team create session, your bookmarks or recents, your friends, or you can search for anyone with the search bar at the bottom of Home. You won't see bookmarks or recents if this is your first time with the plugin, but read further to learn how to do that!

Navigating to the loader is simple. When the plugin is opened, your character should automatically be loaded in the background and ready to be shown in the loader. To open the loader, either click and load another character from the home screen (you can also right-click them too!) or use the bottom nav-bar to open the loader.

To open settings in LRC4, click the cog icon in the bottom nav-bar.

Apply default settings and reset all local data

To apply default settings or reset all local data of the plugin in LRC4, you can

  1. Open the plugin

  2. Navigate to the settings page

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page

  4. Click on 'Apply default settings' or 'reset all data' in the bottom-right corner

  5. Follow the prompts to finalise your decision.

How to use the loader

Once you've navigated to the loader, you'll see two main panels. In the first panel, you'll see the user/character you wish to load. Here you can bookmark their character for easy access in the future.

In the second panel, you'll see the loading options for the character. At the top, you can select the rig type or choose another outfit the user has saved. LRC4 should automatically select the correct rig type for each user's character and all their saved outfits. Additionally, you'll see all the following configuration toggles under here:

  • Auto Update

  • Inspectable

  • Pushable

  • Show Nametag

  • Hide Health

  • Disable Auto Scaling
